Training Descriptions

Mayssa's Aces

Mayssa’s Aces is designed for the more experienced athlete seeking to improve their overall skills and gain more game-like experience. Most sessions focus on a particular skill such as attacking, defense, setting, or serve/receive. Players will learn the technical aspects of all positions in a fast-paced, game-like environment.

There is also a strong emphasis on developing a player’s overall skill set and volleyball IQ. Aces places a focus on fundamentals with constant feedback in an upbeat, fun, and energetic setting.

Mayssa's Minis
Mayssa’s Minis is much like Aces, yet is tailored for the beginning to intermediate player that is still developing their foundation.  There is a greater emphasis on the skill development and breakdown of positions. Like Aces, most sessions focus on a particular aspect of the game such as attacking, defense, setting, or serve/receive. The technical aspects of all positions will be taught in an upbeat and game-like environment.

There will be a greater emphasis in developing a player’s overall skill set by breaking down body positioning and footwork. Mini’s places a focus on fundamentals with constant feedback in a fast paced, fun, and energetic setting.
Semi-Private Lessons

Semi-Private lessons are a great way to improve upon a specific skill in a small group setting.  Sign up for attacking, defense, setting, or serve/receive to sharpen your mechanics. As these sessions are eight or less athletes, there is more attention to breaking down each movement of a skill.  These smaller group sessions are a great way to improve the skill of your choice so you transition your skill to the volleyball court.

Private Lessons

Private lessons offer you the highest level of individual attention. Mayssa will work with you on whatever skillset you desire. These sessions are deeply focused on your game and developing the specific skill you choose for your lesson. Private lessons are recommended for athlete’s attempting to improve on one specific skill such as defensive platform, arm swing, setting positioning, or serving. You will benefit from breaking down each skill and rebuilding it with the proper mechanics.
